How does the weight compare to stock Spyder wheels? They're beautiful, but I'd never switch wheels on our Spyder unless I knew there was a weight advantage. Tough to do considering how light the stock ones are.

Here are the weights versus the Factory Boxster Spyder wheels:

Fuchs Performance FP.1
8.5x19” 22 lbs. 13 oz.
10x19” 22 lbs. 6 oz.

Porsche Factory Boxster Spyder
8.5x19” 21 lbs. 15 oz.
10x19” 23 lbs. 14 oz.

They look awesome.

Regarding weight, I had done a comparison of the tires available for the Spyder and noted that the Michelin Super Sports are actually 1 - 2 Lbs lighter than the next lightest tire so this will also reduce unsprung weight.

I can't wait to see the wheels on the Spyder!

The 8.5x19” Fuchs Performance FP.1 wheel is heavier than the 10x19” version because the backpad portion of the wheel is thicker, in order to provide brake caliper clearance.

Good looking wheel, lots of history, but I think I'll defer to photos on the car before making a judgment as to whether I want a '70s 911 look on my 2011 Spyder. Hope it works out well for you.
