I sold my original paint & interior Signal Yellow 1973 911T Sunroof Coupe a few months ago (it went back to the Fatherland), so that opened up a space in the smaller Carmel garage. But just about everyone I have heard from in this forum, from A(fshin) to Z(ellamsee) and Mooty in between, think it would be foolish for me to sell this particular custom-ordered Spyder! And they may be right. So we will see.

Since I didn't get any takers.......and life is short, I took someone's advice on RL and got a white one! It is a fantastically fun car! Thanks guys -- we can close this thread now.

Thanks mile2424 -- that picture you posted of the blue sky was too much and broke my willingness to hold out.......glad it did!

Thanks khooni! I can't wait for it to show up this weekend -- about the only options I wouldn't have specced myself was the Alcantara pkg and white gauges. (And I did not realize that the Alcantara pkg includes the thicker rimmed steering wheel, so I definitely feel I came away with a "bonus".)

Thanks cparkin! I'm definitely not complaining!
I like your choice in cars, kyrocks. Hmmm.....lived in Iowa for 4 years -- in Iowa City at UIHC possibly? We definitely have plenty of twisty back roads......none with mountains though.....just glacial carved "hills" in NE Iowa.
Thanks Afshin, looking forward to it's delivery this weekend!
