Seems they are hard to find. So I've decided to order the Fuchs wheels - any thoughts?:

Since you're asking opinions I will give mine. I personally think the Fuch's style wheels just don't look right on modern Porsche's with exception to maybe certain 911 models.

Why not send out your wheels and have them painted black?

Agree plus the fact that if they are the ones sold by PORSCHE they are cast not forged and are heavier than the Spyder wheels. Fuchs is back in business and producing forged wheels but they are pricy. I have also heard that there is a company in the US that is producing forged Fuch designed wheels

I think they are pretty cool. But they really only cool within the Porsche communities. Non-Porsche people will think you got a whole set of "spare tires" on.

The picture you show is probably Fuchfelge.

There is also Fuch Performance FP.1

And there is Porsche Sports Classic.

I think Wilber had a set on, before he got bit by the mod bug.

I will be ordering them from GMP - I think they are the only one's able to sell these wheels thru exclusivity w/ SpeedArt.

They are the Fuchs Forged (Fuchs Performance) Matte black 19x8.5 F 19x11 R. The other wheel you are referring to is the US manufactures wheel (made by HRE?) which is the Sport Classic.

I had thought about having them painted, but the idea was to have 2 sets to swap for summer/VA winter.
