I reviewed the Connecticut Valley Region PCA schedule and noted that they are having their Annual Fall Tour on Saturday October 29th in Rhode Island. Looks like a mix of country and coastal roads and then lunch. The entire event starts Friday and ends Sunday but I'm going to send an email asking if it can be narrowed down for local members. I would also ask if we can have all of the Spyder owners seated at the same table to allow us to talk.

I know daytime temperatures in late October are usually in the low 60's up to the low 70's so it should be perfect for top down driving.

The other alternative is the Historic Event at Lime Rock Park on Monday September 5th (Labor Day).

I'm going to look for other venues as well and post back if I find something that would be fun.

Quick Update, I'm getting more details on the Connecticut Valley Region Fall Drive on October 29th and I'm thinking this might be a really nice venue for our first Spyder meet. It's unfortunately not as centrally located as I would have hoped but it's the only event I can find that includes driving, prearranged hotel (for those interested) and a place for lunch.

Before I make reservations I would like to get some feedback from those that are located farther away also ask if there's anything in the planning stages that I should try to include.

For those living in PA, NJ and NY I have some suggestions for great driving roads (as long as traffic is decent).

I put it on the calendar but am about 50-50 at this point. I get home from Stuttgart Germany a few days before that so I am not sure i will be able to sneak away to CT for the weekend.....
