I agree DSG will shave time off the shifts, but at most will only get through 2 shifts before 60 MPH, most sport cars can get to 60 in 2nd gear, so your times saving is on one shift. Launch control is less effective on AWD cars. Take that 360 BHP (crank) figure drive train loss to the ground, 2WD loss is 10%, or 36HP, AWD is 15-18 % HP loss so that's 60-65HP loss in the transition to the ground.

If the TTRS can run those numbers that C&D published, I would for sure be looking the TTRS, but those times are not going to happen, US or European car.

Looking at picking up the TT RS or Cayman; I'm sure that cross shopping these two more coincide with coupes rather than roadsters, but I've also read of the TTRS being cross shopped with the 5 series...

I'm leaning for the sexiness of the 2.5, but it's hard to deny the purity of the Porsche.
