Default 987 Twins (Boxster Spyder and Cayman R)

Taken at a Germain Car show in Vienna VA today, the local Porsche Dealer brought a pair of new ones out to play in Basalt Black.

IMHO, the Spyder looks more special.

I agree that I prefer the looks of the Spyder but the Cayman R would definitely be a fun car to own if you want a hard top. It would have been my choice for car if I didn't want a convertible.

I think the Cayman has a high gloss silver paint on the wheels but I'm not sure how much they differ from the stock Spyder wheels.

The wheels look almost chrome... I prefer the standard silver.

Any pics of the rest of the show?

The pair looks great, makes me want to do a drum solo.

Didn't bring my camera along, but did snap a pic of this beauty with my cellphone:

It wasn't even entered in the concours, and it was one of the nicest there.

I really hate the silver trim on the Cayman R - it really limits the color choices on that car.

but that's all about position and angles in shots like this...
