Take them off! Just as bad as the GT3 RS etc... stickers.

I have warmed to it quite a bit. Did not like it at first, but now I love it.

I'm also warming up to the stripes. I still think it looks better without them but it is part of the character of the Spyder and without them it might look too ill-defined. Like what is it, a Boxster that someone added aftermarket humps, etc. Anyway, it's a blast to drive, with or without stripes. Thanks for the input.

FYI, there is an option code to remove the stripes but I can't remember what it is. If I come across it I will post it here.

I like the stripes, but then my '71 had them, and I drove that car for 26 years. Took the stripes off after about 20 years due to weathering/checking, and did not like the look as well.

Very clean look! Like the white/tan also. I'm getting used to my stripes and surprised at the comments I get about them.

The red wheels and huge spyder script make it look like a clown car, IMO.

definitely keep the strips. They look great. I think even better if you paint the wheels black to match them but that's just me.

If you notice... this is the only car in all of Porsche's lineup that uses the word Porsche on the side instead of the model name.

I am seriously considering painting the wheels black and think it will look great. This is my first Porsche without the PCCB's and the brake dust is so hard to clean off the wheels that it's driving me nuts. At the time I placed my order, only the Carrera wheels were available in black and I wanted the lighter Spyder wheels. Now, I understand it is an option.

This is how I like it.

In white, ice blue, silver or black. Whichever was quicker for delivery!

Love those red wheels. Need to paint mirrors to match.
Color is so subjective.
To each his own.
If you have to ask a forum if it looks good, first look in the mirror and ask yourself.

I just re-read the Excellence first drive article and came across something that made me think.

They mention that the "Boxster Spyder" script on the back is a little too long, and could have been shortened to just "Spyder".

After looking at it again.... I agree.

The more I lookk and read about this car, the more I know it will be my next P-car.

Like many others in this thread, I too did not like the stripes at all at first. While I wouldn't quite go as far as to say that I now love them, I have warmed up to them a lot and sure don't think that I would remove them.
