Pete,

You are a very brave man doing wet track on Cups again...

Glad you love the spyder.

I admire you for living and enjoying your life on the track. Enjoying it together with your wife is just bonus.

I hated myself for opening this thread...I really have no more garage space left, damn...

You know, I have to admit driving out into the morning coastal fog and drizzle on track on Tuesday morning, I had some trepidation and asked myself "are you f'ingnuts?" But while the track was wet, it was not raining and there was no water puddles.

My control inputs were probably smoother than they have ever been on track and I kept pulled back to well below limits of adhesion.

Honestly, it was therapeutic and mind-freeing experience.

Now about your garage space...

So tell us about tracking with the top on or off.
Did you have to wear arm restraints when the top was off?
Did you approach the 124mph top (on) speed at Laguna?

My pleasure! Not Sharky, but TPC. Casey has put the voodoo hex on me and against my better judgment made me order his F/R anti-roll bar setup and drop links.

He claims it will transform my already randy roadster into one with cat-on-carpet grip. Looking forward to this mod. Also received my Tarrett GT3 lower control arms to feed in a bit more camber, but I will go with whatever settings TPC suggests.

Now- to really trigger the anti-PCCB crowd into an apoplectic fit , check out what I was working on this afternoon. Ummmm, P50 Green Motorsport pads front and rear. Tasty!

(Rears are actually still P40 material but thicker)

Craig at Rennstore.com is your man for P-car pads of all kinds. Very helpful to discuss your needs with.

The stock pads (as usual for tracking) have taken on a bevel wear pattern so I slapped on the Green's as they are thicker and handle heat better.

Madness I tell you!
Very nice. Soooooo, have you heard about the TPC turbo kit???

+1. Great to see you back at the track so quickly. No doubt that tracking in the wet helps you become smoother.

Tim: I have an extra space in my garage. I'll even excercise it for you.
