Any ETA on Spyders recall parts?

My salesman just emailed me that the service managers have been told that the parts have been released by Porsche and should arrive this week in dealerships and would only take minutes to install... Maybe this week-end will be THE week-end for those who's cars are at the dealerships...

I was just wondering the same! I have not been able to get any info from Porsche or my dealer. My car has been sitting at the port now for over 5 weeks, and I am losing patience. My dealer may have a nicely spec'd BS for sale sometime in the future (i.e., I may just bail on the car).

I'm starting to think Porsche is TOO concerned about their JD Powers ranking. They are willing to take the chance they might upset some customers. But the lack of information has become annoying.

Interesting; that could well be the case. In any event, I wish PCNA would at least give us some kind of ETA. Are we talking about days, weeks or even possibly another month? Without any ETA, I may be shopping for another car very, very soon.

The lack of communication from the dealer is appalling ... have done business with them since 1983 ... I do not understand the lack of information ... I have found out the most from a thread on the planet-9 board...
