Thanks for the response. This is what I originally did and there was a lot of stress on the interior metal door panel where the foam door panel rests / hangs on. It’s like a French cleat. I ended up bending this interior metal trim which I why I recommend popping the bottom of the panel off first and then sliding the cosmetic door panel up and off the metal cleat. Similar fashion / methodology to the triangle door mirror trim piece.

I didn’t want the next person to bend their metal bracket because it will require you to remove that interior metal cover and bend it back in place.

Excellent video - thanks so much. I've got this procedure planned for my Spyder to replace the Door Pull Handle and Arm Rest with alcantara parts (as in the GT3 RS). I take it the pull and arm rest are afixed to the panel with hex bolts or something.

The process is to unlock the plugs first (they have two positions), with the correct tool, then the door panel lifts up and free easily.
As per the instruction sheet above; just follow the A, B, C sequence.

There's numerous video and similar on the internet describing the correct process, as pulling on the top first would likely damage the fittings, yes.
