Default Spyder Standard Seat Stiching

Hello,
I’m wondering if someone with a Spyder with standard black leather seats WITHOUT deviated stitching can tell me what the standard thread color is? From photos it’s hard to determine if it’s white, gray, or silver? Anyone who can take a peek at their seats I’d appreciate it, I’m trying to match a shift boot. Thanks

That looks very standard, IMO.

yes I know that is standard, that’s what I need, what is the color of the thread, grey, white or silver?

I believe it’s call Black Gray but you should reach out to Ed with EdGuards. He makes the LWB bolster covers and they are a perfect match.

Here are the original seats from my 2011 white Spyder. The headrest area on the drivers side shows the stitching the best.

Ed answered me back immediately and provided very helpful information. Sounds like it’s typically black grey, but there is also GT silver, and platinum gray. Thanks everyone for the help and photos.

Do you have any leads on where to buy the thread? I’m going on the same journey but not having any luck.

I’d contact Ed, he’s super helpful. I’m trying to match for a leather shift boot upgrade. Ed offered to restitch the boot with the correct color if need be. I’m sure he can source the thread for you.

No affiliation with Ed other than being a satisfied customers. I have his bolster covers on my LWBs and the materials that he uses are indistinguishable from the factory seats. My car has been in 3 concours events with near-perfect scores each time and no one has seemed to notice their presence.
