Rather spectacular specs for any 987.2 Spyder, much less an ABM Spyder. And the car was even "retro-fitted" with LWB seats down the road, icing on the cake. The MSRP of US$83K in 2011 translates to about $113K today in 2023. Amusingly, the 2024 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 has a base price of $97K in the US, to which more than $16K in options could be easily added. And the unobtainable new 718 Spyder RS sits at a base price of $161K. Somewhere in there lies a cultural-politico-economical observation....
What an amazing spec! I’m loving the minimalist vibe of 096 with AC & stereo delete - LWB, PSE, and short shifter are icing on the cake. How do I convince the owner to sell? Haha
It's been awfully quiet for the past two weeks on the ABM Register (crickets....). The MY2011 section still looks mighty sparse in the "currents" columns. The latest version of the two pages of the Register are still back on Posts 15 and 28. Aren't there more RLers driving ABM Spyders? It is a rare variant of the Spyder, but....

Updated "current" info on four ABM Spyders: MY2011 - #248 and #688; MY2012 - #096 and #129. We are making good progress on the MY2012s with 7 of the 9 cars with some "currents". We are lagging on the MY2011s with only 6 of the 17 cars with "currents". Where are the MY2011s? I need MOAR!
Do we know who owns Eduardo’s old ABM Spyder? VIN 187. Would love to see an update on this car along with VIN 096.
Minor update to add more data on the two PTS Blues Brothers. Recall that this "Main Page" provides an overview summary of the ABM Spyders, while the "Addendum" provides more info on the option content and some current details (hopefully!) for each car.
