Minor update to correct typos and add one mileage point. The "Addendum" supplements the overview presented in the "Main Page" of the Register. This pretty much exhausts my collection of data from public sources. Still looking for a lot more help/input on the current ownership/mileage columns. Hello, hello....

Thanks to Zeus993 facilitating the Canadian connection, I am able to update the info on 2012 ABM Spyder #096, now in the hands of Bear BC with 21,000 km. (That info will go into the Addendum Mod3 when next posted.) This was originally a US market Spyder that went to Canada in 2015. The car's original build specs were rather ferocious: PCCB, A/C Delete, Radio Delete, Manual Gearbox, Lightweight Lithium-Ion Battery, Sport Shifter, Sport Exhaust System, Spyder Interior Alcantara Pkg, plus six additional Exclusive X-code options. And somewhere along the way, the original Unheated Sport Seats were replaced by Lightweight Bucket Seats with Pepita fabric centers. Whew.
That still leaves 14 of the 26 ABM Spyders on the Register with no information beyond what is found on their Porsche Build Sheets. C'mon! There have to be other current (or past) ABM Spyder owners out there willing to pipe up? No fun being Sancho Panza with Don Quixote having gone AWOL....

Great info SCMike. The 2012 ABM Spyder #096 is the perfect spec for me - love ABM and this build. Is the owner on RL?
I very rarely use the AC or radio while driving my Spyder, although I realize most people want both options.

Yes indeed, #096 has a unique build spec, even among the almost-all-unique ABM Spyders (none of the ABMs have the same identical MSRP as any other ABM due to their unique option sets). Interesting side-bar: the very limited production of ABM Spyders for MY2012, means that each ABM Spyder for the two MYs can be uniquely identified just by the last three digits of its VIN (there are no repeats of the last three digits among the ABMs).
The owner of #096 is not on RL, which is why I am grateful to Zeus993 for making this (international) connection.

Yes, the owner of 096 is not on Rennlist, rather "shy", may I say? And LOVES his ABM Spyder. He'll never sell it.
Zeus - Thanks for the info on 096. It is completely understandable about never wanting to sell as I’m in the same camp…unless I have an opportunity to acquire my dream spec 987 Spyder. Circumstances change through the years so you never know. Two vehicles I never plan to sell are my Defender 90 and the Spyder as both put a smile on my face every time I take them out.
By the way, congrats on your new Spyder - I really liked your silver Spyder as well.

Thanks d90spyder! The Silver was and still is a stunning car. I almost opened the door of it the other day to drive off!
A Defender 90 - now there's a another CLASSIC. Nice...
Hi Mike,
Your work is well appreciated. Interesting fact about 688. Monroney shows leather A-pillar leather interior Pkg at $740 but it isn’t there. And the mileage as on now is 5800.
688 is also CPO 2 y
ears unlimited miles. Came from Porsche Honolulu HI. I am the second owner. It has more miles on a ship and a truck that on the speedo.
It goes in Monday for PPF then I can drive it. I am afraid to get chips. My other spyder isn’t ABM, it’s silver over sand beige and it’s the last 2012 produced. I will be selling it next month.
Hi Bert,
That's a great pair of Spyders that you have, most especially the ABM #688. The photo you found above is MY2012 ABM #096 referenced in some earlier postings on this thread. It is a US spec Spyder that ended up in Canada. Tomorrow I am going to post the Mod3 update to the Register Addendum with some added current information.
Cheers,
Mike

Yes. If I am reading the Porsche Build Sheets correctly, only two ABMs came with PCCBs as factory spec: MY2011 #668 and MY2012 #096. In addition, MY2012 #103 was retro-fitted with PCCBs after the fact.
Updated "current" info on four ABM Spyders: MY2011 - #248 and #688; MY2012 - #096 and #129. We are making good progress on the MY2012s with 7 of the 9 cars with some "currents". We are lagging on the MY2011s with only 6 of the 17 cars with "currents". Where are the MY2011s? I need MOAR!
Rather spectacular specs for any 987.2 Spyder, much less an ABM Spyder. And the car was even "retro-fitted" with LWB seats down the road, icing on the cake. The MSRP of US$83K in 2011 translates to about $113K today in 2023. Amusingly, the 2024 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 has a base price of $97K in the US, to which more than $16K in options could be easily added. And the unobtainable new 718 Spyder RS sits at a base price of $161K. Somewhere in there lies a cultural-politico-economical observation....
