That's great, 3 Spyders make perfect sense to me!
I ended up with three 987s at the same time earlier this year. When I say ended up I mean I bought them and used them but didn't have a clear idea what I'm going to do with three.
So I ended up selling one Boxster, another is now on auction on BAT (the red one), and the third, my Peridot Green Cayman R stays in the garage.
I ended up with a new 718 Boxster S with the turbo 4 to replace the 987 Boxsters. Don't believe what the reviews say about the exhaust sound. It's awesome in a different way. It's no 987 but the sucker is fast.
Never selling the Cayman R though. LWBs, 6speed, decent miles. I can understand coming back to the Spyder three times.

I tried and tried again 3 newer Porsches (981 Cayman base, Carrera T, and the 718 Spyder) and as much as I wanted to "bond" them there were just too many little modern niggly things (e-brake, auto-shut off, e-steering, cyclinder deactivate, the engine sound etc...), an overall disconnected, numbness of the car.
Then I'd take my buddies (3 of them) Spyders for a rip and go, "dang! THIS is such a great car". So here we are.
And everyone asks "are you going to keep this one?". The answer is ultimately "who knows?", right? But I have a strong suspicion the answer is YES, that it's a keeper. It's so good to be back.
A Peridot Green Cayman R? THAT is a keeper for sure. Such a great colour.

I did like the Carrera T but it didn't excite. The steering was better, and the engine pretty nice.
I deliberately went to get the 4 cylinder 718 because I thought it would be different than the new Spyder or GTS. And it is, I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected. It's a fun, fast car. The one I have has all the performance options and sport PASM and LSD and it feels like a lot of car under you. The steering feel is better than I expected too.
I'm sure one of these days I'll try out the 987 Spyder too, maybe I'll buy one from you!
