Default Spyder suncover interior trim

On the inside of our suncovers, where the fabric meets up with the carbon fiber header there is a piece of plastic tubing that serves as transition between the two materials. With your cover on, look up and you’ll see the black tubing that has a slit in it to fit over the edge of the carbon fiber. The problem is the ends are under tension and (at least on mine) pull away from the carbon fiber. This wouldn’t be a big deal since no one can see it, except when the tubing pulls away it then pushes on the fabric suncover and will eventually wear through it. Pics are below.

Has anyone else seen this (or maybe now you can’t unsee it) and has anyone already found a solution to keep the ends of the tubing in place? I’m assuming some super-adhesive would do the trick but if someone else has already done this I’m all ears.
