Greetings,

I have a 2012 987.2 Spyder with PCM (no Bose). I'd appreciate any recommendations about a replacement with the following attributes:

1- Apple CarPlay
2- Works with multi-function steering wheel controls
3- Fit and ease of installaion
4- Possibly Sirius/XM(?)

It would be great to get feedback from actual experiences.

Please don't tell me I should be listening to the PSE exhaust notes. There is a time and place for all

I basically never even turn on the PCM or radio, BUT...I would love to have Carplay built in! Maybe the 997/987 will be next on the list for Porsche Classic radios and we'll get that option. Personally, any aftermarket solution wouldn't be my cup of tea.

What about keeping the stock PCM and adding a CarPlay module such as this:
