Cayman R on PCarMarket - sold today!
A beautiful Cayman R sold today on PCarMarket - strong pricing for a relatively nicely-equipped Cayman R ($81k MSRP) in Peridot, LWB, and PDK ... and ... 2k miles from new.

That's the big difference between BaT and PCMarket.
5k miles Boxster Spyder sold for >$110k at BaT last week whereas a rare/collectible colored Cayman R with even less miles sold for "only" $93kat PCMarket.
Worth to put up with the BaT delay/headache if you are selling a car you are willing to stand behind and take all the eggs/roses being tossed your way!

Very true. 6MT is worth quite a bit in the used market. Also the Spyder had PCCB which probably added thousands to the price.
I'd love to have PCCB just so I don't have to deal with rusty rotors after washing the car!

There might also be a "BaT premium". I will guess that it has a bigger market share than PCMarket, and this could lead to more bidders and, potentially, higher bids.
If I was going to sell my car I believe I'd post it there.
On the other hand, if I wanted to buy a car, I'd hope I could find it somewhere else.

THIS. Not discounting that BaT certainly gets more traffic but at the end of the day anyone really looking for either of these rare cars are going to find them via any and all avenues. All things being equal, the market favors a roughly $10k premium for 6 speed cars on either the R or Spyder based on what I've seen.
