987R 2012 stitch colour challenge - what colour is this?
Hi
A newbie here.
I have a Cayman R 2012 in Black with the extended leather.
Would you kindly help advise what stitch colour you think I have. An array of pics to help attached.
Porsche Reading UK say it is the Standard black stitching.
I spoke with Garry at Classicfx (lovely chap) and he suggests it is GT silver.
On my build sheet it doesn't detail it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Julian

Are the CR and Spyder stitching threads the same? If so, I just had Crazy Eddie make me some of his LWB covers for my Spyder and he used a color called Gray Black. You might consider reaching out to him.

I don't think that's GT Silver. GT Silver is a near white stitching color. Some pics in here. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...ilver-car.html
That is the factory matched stitching color, especially since you don't see "deviated stitching" listed on your window sticker. If he has a charcoal color, that would likely be the best match.
Exclusive option lists it as "factory matched". http://shop.exclusiveoption.com/Leat...97-9X7L24A.htm
