Great seats! What’s your solution to the airbag light? Does it come on with the Recaro seats installed? Thanks.

The shop that supports my race car has a PIWIS, and they're able to code out individual airbag sensors / modules so that the car isn't checking for thorax airbags in the stock seats & passenger occupancy sensor. All other airbags functional. My understanding is that it has to be PIWIS to make these changes, durametric doesn't support it. So either a trip to the dealer or a shop with PIWIS.

The downside is that without the passenger occupancy sensor, the passenger front & side airbags are set to always armed therefore I could never take a child in the passenger seat for a drive, as the car won't auto-disable the passenger airbags when detecting <60lbs (or whatever the # is) in the seat.

Great looking car! Love the Pole Positions with hounds tooth inserts, those seats are fantastic, I have a set on my VW mtn drive car.

The seats are direct from Recaro, their new Pole Position Classic line. There's a few inserts to choose from, including this Pepita design.
