987 Boxster Spyder production summary
#46
24 total with PCCBs out of 826 cars.
20 for 2011 out of 685 cars.
4 for 2012 out of 141 cars.
There are only two platinum silver cars with PCCBs, one for 2011, one for 2012 (which is yours, I saw your ad). The 2011 one is a manual.
I know that my data shows more cars than the original post, but I believe this to be as accurate as I can get.

I think these will be collectibles. Love the article in Panorama this month.

Thank you. I am really conflicted about letting go of my Spyder. It is a great car, rare, incredibly well-optioned and the color combo with those PCCBs is a stunning. Candidly, that is why I have priced it where it is. I actually have it on Autotrader for $10K more than listed here. I won't be disappointed if it doesn't move.

I honestly hope you get your price but I'm not seeing it sell for 80k+. Yes it has PCCB's but it has lots of other issues: No buckets, not 6mt, tan interior, red seat belts with PCCB's, silver is an okay color but not a "premium" color. I hope I'm wrong and you get 80k+ but that's my 2 cents.

How many ABM Spyders in 2011 - 18 or 17?
OK, since we seem to have new analysis resources available, I would like to return to a question I had a couple of years ago. How many Aqua Blue Metallic Spyders were sold in North America for MY2011? The most common number quoted is 18. But I reviewed all the available build sheets at the time and could only pin-point 17 ABMs. It looked to me like one of the ABM cars for 2011 was doubled-counted in the statistics of that time (a duplicated build sheet in the compilation). So there were really only 17 ABMs that I could find. Since then, I kept my eyes open for ABMs coming on the market, but never spotted one that was not already in the 17 build sheets that I have in hand. In contrast, I was able to account for all 9 ABMs for MY2012. So can anyone identify the missing "18th" ABM Spyder for MY2011?
The set of MY2011 ABMs I have in hand includes:
MY2011 VIN – last 5
1. 45120
