Default 987 Spyder pricing?

Hi guys,

I recently decided to sell my 997.1 gt3 for a less expensive sports car with the goal of lower maintenance and repair costs, but same fun factor.

What is the typical price for one with a 6mt, buckets and AC with average miles around 30k?

Thanks

$50-60K+- based upon the usual. Look at Bring a Trailer for some recent sales.

All depends on condition and options! I just spent 70k for mine with 935 miles on it... near new with the options I was looking for! Documented / Maintained properly as well.
Worth every cent to me!

Likely in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s, it just depends on how particular you are with cosmetic and mechanical condition.

Price range often reflects condition. I’ve had a few people looking for Spyders tell me that there are a bunch for sale with accident history/paintwork. Get a PPI and have the paint metered.

The Spyder is a great alternative to the GT3, especially for road use. It’s also a relative bargain considering how engaging and enjoyable they are to drive.

At the 50-60 price range you guys are stating, you must be talking 987.2 Spyder. 981 Spyder is more like 90+

I just bought my 2012 987.2 Spyder, 6mt, carbon buckets, A/C, and 23K on the clock. In excellent condition... even original tires (I could tell it had never been abused). They only brought about 125 units in for 2012, so I really wanted that year.

I paid $58K for it (I considered that a great deal considering they go for much more in LA).

Mike: Great find! Change the tires right away. Old tires are what killed Paul Walker. All tires six years and older should be changed. Enjoy!

Sean,

Of course! I put a new set of sticky Michelin Cup 2 tires on her the week she arrived.
