Tranny Cooler
So where is the tranny cooler on these things?
I can't tell if I have one.

If you can't tell then you don't have one. The plumbing is pretty obvious.

Is it a necessity?
Hate to blow the trans.

I use mine but the cooler is in the truck so I'm not sure how much good it does. I think changing the oil frequently is the most important thing. Smells pretty bad after a while.

You mean trunk, not truck, Scott?
Is that one of the switches on your dash that we turn on?
It has a fan?

Yes, it's in the trunk and the switch is on the shift riser. No fan, just a pump. The truck has one too but that's different.
and I wouldn't touch Streak's tranny with a 10' torque wrench.

Let's be very clear here:
I do not want to blow my tranny.
I do not want to blow my engine.
I will be out of business.
Along those lines, what about these deep sump kits? Worth it?

I'm currently working with a raditor fabricator on a protoype cooler that will replace the ac condenser with the same mounting lugs for a simple install. This will require longer lines, but much better cool air flow. My plan is to put one on the other side for engine oil cooling.

If it doesn't have one, an x51 oil pan with baffles is a good idea.
