Need some help with the engine stuff
Hi
can someone tell me where this hose goes to?
also I am seeing a try reservoir and leaks under jt on the power steering. Did it just shoot out from heat or do I have a problem?
thanks

First hose comes from secondary air pump which you seem to no longer have.
The ps overflow hose can drip on track if you are topped up on fluid. Recommend an underdrive pulley and slightly lower fluid level.

one more silly question. Can I install an oil temp or oil pressure gauge from this sandwich adapter. Anyone know what size the one block is

I don't see any teflon sealant, which is generally used on NPT fittings as the threads don't seal. could be something else, so worth taking it out to check it, as we would just be guessing.

I am going to forgo the pressure sensor and get an an10 adapter to install a temp sensor.
anyway new problem, my front brake caliper is completely stuck. Anyone know who might have a pair in stock? I was hoping to go to a race Saturday

Racing Brake might be able to overnight you parts for a rebuild, if you can get yours apart.

Edit:
RMeuropean.com has front calipers in stock. https://www.rmeuropean.com/Make/Pors...gID=003&page=1
FCPeuro.com has seals in stock. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...tric-143-37013
I usually get the seals from RockAuto for half the price, but they are out of stock.

Thank you you are a life saver. I guess I have to buy both Argg. I checked the lr it was fine, hopefully the rr is okay too. I can’t check since I jacked the car against a wall. So expensive.

I swapped a caliper in the cold pits in a couple hours (And I'm slow). Helps to have a bleeder and the proper flare nut wrench for the bleed nipple.

not to poop on your experience, but replacing a caliper should be 30 minute affair. 2 caliper bolts, 1 line bracket bolt, and the brake line. If you round the brake line nut, that will add some time.

fair enough -- I was doing both sides as I didn't want one old caliper and one new. The OP might consider the same.

I can swap it relatively quickly, but if I race this weekend I have to leave Friday afternoon. I don’t know if it will show up. I didn’t get any confirmation on the caliper. I also found out my battery is late too and stupid tire rack didn’t tell me until today. I did learn you need to buy a flare wrench to do brake lines, don’t cheap out. I will try to rebuild the old caliper, my friend think it welded together from the heat.
