Methods to seal roof to top of windsheld frame
I'm starting my cage build in a couple of weeks and just ordered the GT Racing roof. I see that there are lots of ways to set up roof attachment to the rear portion of the cage, but does anyone have comments or pictures of how the roof is attached to the from windshield frame, and if anyone is using some sort of seal to prevent water leaks into the cockpit when running in the rain? Also ideas as to what to do with the clamshell to make it easily removable for quick unfettered access to the engine compartment rather than having to work around it using the stock mounts.
Thanks!

I had dzus fasteners on my all my race cars, but not this one. Since the top does not need to come off in a hurry, I simply used well nuts and screws (two on the front, two on the rear). Takes a few seconds longer, but they don't pop open in the middle of the race, which has happened to me with dzus fasteners.
My clamshell is intact, not a problem so far. I manually pull it back out of the way when working in the engine compartment.

3-4 dzus fasteners and then simply use Gorilla tape to seal

1/4 turn Cam-lock type fasteners work great and I don't need to tape. That is until I lost a couple. My advice is to buy extras.
P.S. Anybody know who made this and where I can find some? I've found a lot of similar ones but not these. Panal hole is 7/16" , the depth is ~ 5/8" when latched and the coller is 7/8"

foam rubber "P" seal. works like a champ. run it along the windshield frame below the roof. no need for helicopter tape or the like on the outside.
