Lots of opinions available if you search for wide body on narrow body (in Rennlist I mean. Search that in google and you might get some unsavory results).

Lol, and these are wide body offsets . . . I am curious if they would work as they are completely different the above OEM wheel:
Here is the WB
(2) Front: 19x8.5 +46
(2) Rear: 19x11 +38
Narrow Body for the same wheel (which is out of stock for 2 to 3 months)
(2) Front: 19x8.5 +46
(2) Rear: 19x11 +52

Rears will be flush, I would get a 5-7mm front spacer for the fronts if you want the fronts to be flush as well (more then 7mm spacer in the front and u will start to protrude past fender).
The fitment will look pretty much identical to my avatar (after the front spacers)

For reference the 997.1 OEM fronts are 19x8 ET57 or 19x8.5 ET55 on both WB and NB cars.
997.1 OEM NB rears are 19x11 or 19x11.5 with ET67
997.1 OEM WB rears are 19x11 or 19x11.5 ET51
This is all listed in the owner's manual page 288 & 289.
Now all stock setups can accomodate about 15mm rear spacers and 10mm front spacers with OEM wheels to get flush. Some cars can go more depending upon tire profile and alignment but generally 10mm front, 15mm rear.
NB cars can run OEM WB rears without rear spacers and be flush, there is a 16mm offset difference built into the WB OEM rears. Fronts would then add a 10mm spacer or so (some use 7mm) to match the rear look.
These would be flush up front but poking out in the rear on a NB car by 16mm. Do not fit.
Perfect flush fit without any spacers on a NB car. It's essentially the same as NB OEM wheels with 10mm spacers in front and 15mm spacers in the rear - a pretty common setup.

I've had 5 sets of wheels on my 2 NB 997.1 C2S cars and to me, the optimum size without having the "ricer" poke with the wheel or tire extending out past the fender line was achieved on my most recent custom Forgeline SC1s, which are.
Front - 19" x 8.5" et 50mm
Rear - 19" x 12" et 74mm
Before ordering these, I took extensive measurements both with my Champion RS171s installed (currently up for sale) and with the wheels off of the car using the Forgeline wheel worksheet.
This is what those wheels look like installed
The next best fit is the OEM GT3 wheel that's on my wife's car. These are
Front - 19" x 8.5" with 53mm offset
Rear - 19" x 12" with 68mm offset
The worst fit were the ADV1s I had that were far too aggressive at:
19x8.5 with 42mm offset
19x11 with 52mm offset
Handling was poor with the car being twitchy & darting from side to side at high speed (I'm assuming from the front track being too wide) and both the front and rear protruded too far, looking like this
I've also had:
RUF wheels
8.5" x 19" with 58mm Offset
11" x 19" with 70mm Offset & 7mm spacer (making these essentiailly an et 63)
and Champion RS171s
19" x 8.5" with 53mm offset
19" x 11.5" with 62mm
also OEM Sport Design, but don't have the specs on those as they came on my wife's car, were my least favorite look, and sold immediately.
I will mention that my 997s are not symmetrical on both sides (most aren't if you look closely) so wheels are further inset on the left side of the car than the right side of the car, but since I can't stand it when they protrude, I spec'd them to make the right side perfect and let the left side be a bit further in.
In all of these photos, tire make, model, and size were all the same - Nitto Invo 235/35 on the Front and 305/30 on the rear so none of the visual differences are attributable to the type or size of tire - the only variable was the different wheels and offsets.
Since all 997s seem to be a little different, my recommendation before buying any wheels is to make sure you're alignment is the way you want it, then get a digital caliper and take actual measurements with you current wheels on the car and figure out exactly what the #s that work to your taste on your car are and go from there.

Also keep in mind what works for one NB may not work on another NB due to different ride height (stock, lowered, slammed) and the camber as well. If you run aggressive front camber then you can run lower offsets. Best way to do it would be to lock down your alignment, ride height and tyre sizes then measure the clearances and decide the offsets.
