Asking $17,500 but I am open to offers and possible trades for air-cooled Porsche's or vintage BMW/Mercedes. Car is located in sunny and dry Los Angeles, CA with a Clean Title in my name and has current CA DMV registration. It is also under a Chubb Classic Car Insurance policy with a $25,000 agreed upon value.

Truly one of the best for sale in the world!

Email me any questions you have and call me if you are serious and are ready to drive it and buy it. I am only selling to buy another vintage car.

The car was purchased from the original family that bought it new in the summer of 1966 here in LA (it was one of the first 67 models in the USA).

The original owner (the rocket scientist) passed away in 1992 but his wife and daughters drove it and maintained it until last year.

Imagine they owned and took care of this car for nearly 50 years! Pretty wild.

That is cool! Had a '67 as a beater in residency back in the 70's so I didn't have to drive my 914 as my DD. Tempting!!! Could use that in AZ...

I am open to any and all reasonable offers. I just had a very solid deal fall through (for a really stupid reason on the buyer's part) a few days ago so I am definitely open.

Plus you don't have to pay anything to ship the car since you are so close. Take a look at the photobucket or onedrive pictures and re-live your youth!

The car is all original as in the fact that it has not been modified like 99% of all vintage VW's.

The car having a high quality respray 10 years ago takes nothing away from it.

If you want an "all original" never touched car plan on spending closer to 75k which is what this just sold for
