Default FS: Carbon Ceramic rotors, lightly used

Category: Brakes
Price (no $ sign please): $4000
Private or Vendor Listing: Vendor Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 996
Location (Region): NorCal
Item Condition: Used

We have in storage a set of Carbon ceramic rotors with hats.
The are in excellent condition with little use on them.
They originated off a 996 2002 Porsche Turbo that switched to steel rotors for track use. The rotors have a original 20k miles on them.

Just some education for those that either want to know or dont know...
PCCB rotors price at the following...
Front - $7200/each new, $5700 remanufactured
Rear - $4000/each new, $4800 remanufactured (yep I know, new is cheaper than reman, I dont make this stuff people, blame Porsche)
In total a set new would cost $22k new, for rotors only.

I took measurements of the front rotor thickness and rear.
Minimum thickness allowed is 27.5mm rear and 33.5 front.
These rotors measure...
Front: 35.4mm
Rear: 28.1mm

Asking price for the set is $4000 or best offer.
Pricing does not include shipping.

Still looking for interested buyers, I cant imagine that people dont need carbon rotors or want them for when they need replacement.

Any feedback is welcome.
Thanks

Default gt3rs compatible?

I am looking to put ceramics back on my 2011 gt3rs. Will these fit my car?

You should take the $2,000. Rotors do not look lightly used, actually look like they've been tracked - they look like they have wear at the edges, holes are full of brake dust, surface isn't smooth and shiny anymore, etc

Without the part #s from the rotors, it's hard to know what size they are. If they're get one rotors like those used on the 996s and the 997 non-Mezger cars, then the fronts and rears are both probably 350mm and your car would use 380mm fronts if not even larger.
