Carbon Front Lip, base/hybrid - AliExpress (installed)
The part I didn't like is the 'gap' and 'overbite' on the front end of the Cayenne. The purpose I get, off-road capabilities and approach angles etc but since this car came spec'd with 22" and PS4s off road isn't top of the list. (before and green lines showing the 'gap')
After digging around I stumbled on the AliExpress offering and after some recent success YouTubers have had with full GT3 kits and AMG Black kits I decided to risk it and order one up... To my surprise, it was one of the best ordering/communications experiences I've had. Total cost, to my door $900 and a little refund due to some minor surface damage (being repaired next week by a local carbon shop for $50)

Experience: Message the AliExpress Shop - got a reply in 2 hours - confirmed fitment to the base model - shared 10 more photos of other cars (in China) with it fitted - shared more photos on WhatsApp of the finished item - updated me every week on the shipment and transit of the lip too. Arrived a little damaged - provided partial refund to cover costs of fixing.
The lip, fitting and final look
- You will need a dremel and some cutting small discs. The way the carbon tabs are made they have a lot of excess material on them. I trimmed about 10mm of each tabs length, sanded each tab down by about 3mm and had to cut some relief holes under the car (in the new carbon lip) to allow the skid plate / under stray to bolt up. Note - this is completely reversable, there is no modification needed to the oem bumper, oem mounts, oem bolts etc.
- No interference with the servo powered lower venting fins or intercooler fins/operation
- There is a small gap to the left and right of the middle opening in the splitter where you can now see a small bit of the air-con pipe and a little to the left where you can see the rear of the. I will likely heat up, bend and secure some thin plastic to the splitter to blank those sections off.
- Make sure you use detailing tape / masking tape and cover the bumper BEFORE offering the lip up for fitment. The carbon is strong/sharp and will scratch if you're not careful. I put 3 layers of tape on the bumper and once happy, with the lip lined up on stands and a friend holding it we peeled the tape off as we fitted the lip and pushed it home.
- Wear long sleeves/mask/eye protection when you're doing the dremel. Fibreglass mixed with carbon itches like hell and isn't great to breathe haha
- all in all took me 3hours to fit this up, that's removal of the old lip, lining up, measuring, cutting, re-cutting and positioning. Then undertray and everything back on.
Final note: I'll 3D print or order some arch liner extensions just to tidy the final wheel well look, even though it's pretty close. I'll also trim the underside (not visible unless you lay on the floor) to allow better clearance with the under tray.

Appreciate it, so much nicer not having a front plate to worry about (having come from the UK)

. I'm curious to know if you did anything to the rear bumper or diffusor to match the sportier carbon look you got? If yes, mind sharing pics or the parts you used?
