Default 981 GT4 Clubsport Wheels on 987

I've searched but not found a clear answer. Has anyone tried these or a similar wheel fitment ? They're 18x10.35 et47.5 and 18x9 et41.

Good call. Looks pretty close to stock 19s with some variation based on possible tire sizes. I think the only potential issue is an 11mm closer inset on rear. Might be tight next to the strut but fixable with spacers.

Thanks for that!

11 to close is way easier to fix than 11mm too far away!! Glad it helped...

From the measurement I've taken on my Cayman R, the rear 18x10.35"ET47 will want a 7mm spacer to clear the OEM rear strut safely, and If you have aftermarket coilovers on the car that spacer size will likely increase on the rear of the car.

Up front, there is plenty of strut/coilover clearance. This sits 5mm further away than our 18x9"ET46 front wheels. That said, there is not enough available fender clearance on my car with our 9"ET46 for a 5mm spacer to equal that 9"ET41 front wheel. It would take camber plates to give me some more clearance in order to use that Clubsport front wheel.

Edit: Aftermarket stud kit will also be required due to the Clubsport wheel backpad thickness.

I got a similar set for my car off a wrecked car. Close fit at the strut but got em dialed using spacers. I also use wheel studs.

Thanks for taking the time to weigh in with that detail, Brandon! I'd actually prefer a set of VS-5Rs but I have a line on these for cheap cheap. I run studs and currently 7/10 spacers. Stock struts, but camber plates in front. How much camber you think needed in front to tuck properly ?

No rubbing up front ?

Nope, camber is negative 3 ish I think and ohlin springs are pretty strong so ride is track car harsh. I never crank the steering to full lock so no idea about that. Everything is very close.

Cool. That's close to where I'm at. Will eventually go to Ohlins as well.

It's less about the final camber number and more about the camber plates being on the car set to their innermost position on the factory slotted mounting holes. This is the piece of the puzzle that will give you wheel/tire clearance. What you do at the LCA from there is not that important with regards to wheel fitment.
