He does the fenders, spray paints the tires and operates the caulk gun.

Agreed, it's sad to see how people these days will do anything to seek attention...=(

I’m always surprised to see someone go down this route. I mean to actually seek this out and pay the $$ for it. To each their own, I know…..

The RWB following is so bizarre to me, those cars are ruined.

Bad call on Roger's part. The showroom floor is destroyed and I don't think Ted is happy.. I will never get this following but I respect him for making it this far. The new owners are happy and that is all that counts. It saddened me to watch as he ground away a section of one of the flairs after watching my friend Pino's guy work over an hour fixing the poor quality Fiberglass. The prior RWB kit he did the parts were top notch. They had to spend over 100 hours on the bumper, 50 on the rear wing and another 150 or more on the rest of the parts just to make them presentable.

I figure he is near retirement and his cars will appreciate to those that love his work. This was done in front of my sons work space and he watched all day Thursday but took his Bday off Friday and Saturday. He said people were waiting outside for hours to see the "Artist" who apparently was quite rude to anyone not directly involved. I find it interesting how those that have never worked with metal find him so talented. I do admit he named it right as rough werks is what it is. The black car will go back to my friends shop to be disassembled and all the raw metal painted.

I do find it funny that when I told the owner of the purple 993 (very nice guy) I turned down $600k for my 3.6T he just laughed and could not comprehend. Something for everyone I guess. If everything was vanilla or chocolate we would have little to chose from.

Some photos from my sons desk. He has access to the CCTV at Engelwood so I watched for a while Saturday from all angles.

Some of the supplies he used

Used every bit of sealant

Grinding away hours worth of hand sanding. Had to do it 3 times I am told to work. He uses the tires to set the fender height and his rolling the car back and forth only ruined the floor but did little to set the suspension properly.

I'll take the speedster with the painted red wheels long before personally.

The new owner would rather have the purple car over this.

They are working on a very nice ST tribute for this years classic project that I think is going to do quite well. That is something I can see spending the money on. I think the good Dr will be happy when it is done.

How do RWB age? With all that bonding, caulking, fiberglass (?), etc, I would think it doesn’t age well.

Maybe a silly question, but why in the heck does he use silicone caulking? Why not something like 3M panel bond? If you do it right, he wouldn't even need the drywall screws...
