Default Carbone (Poland) Update HVAC Controls

Anybody purchased one and "updated" their control panel? Trying to get some opinions from actual users before taking the plunge.

That's interesting, pricey, but interesting.

Purpose? Form vs any function? Aesthetically, doesn’t work for me.

Not my cup of tea. It looks really difficult to see the scales behind the rotating *****.
The product pictures show the use of melting glue for assembly. In my eyes, this indicates quality issues.
Cheers,
Tore

That pic to me looks like it is 3d printed, built and assembled in house at Carbone.

Thanks for the opinions. Think I will pass for now. If it was a lot less I may have taken a chance and installed it. If it didn't work out,I could move it on (here) or chalk it up to a bad but ultimately harmless decision.

First thing I noticed when it came out a few years ago. Aside from the fact that it just doesn't look right aesthetically, I agree that you cannot see the scales easily. This is why there are zero "head on" shots of the product and the only frontal pics are at an angle.

fwiw, and totally unrelated to the hvac, some in the UK have been unhappy with their doorcards and returned them due to quality issues.
