I apologize if I am being vague, I don't want to directly post the cars I am looking at, but I am confused and need some help.
Prices seem to be very inconsistent between a 2017 911 S Cabriolet, 2017 911 4S Cabriolet, 2018 911 4S Cabriolet, 2019 911 4S Cabriolet, 2019 911 GTS Cabriolet.
I know original MSRP matters, but we see a 2018 4S that sold for 114 in 2023 being sold at a deal, CPOed for 132. Why would it go that far up in value? What am I missing?

There are definitely a lot of variables that we would need to know answers to such as MSRP, mileage, accident, history, and more. Can’t explain such a large jump for a specific car from last year till now, but low mileage 991.2s are holding strong due to how much it costs to buy a new 992. Just compare a similar spec 992 to the 991.2 you’re looking at and your probably at around a $30-50k difference.

supply is low and demand is high. it took me a whole year to fine the spec I wanted for a price I was willing to pay. expect turbulence.

Values will range considerably due to several factors (original spec, milage, service history, accidents, etc.). Prices have been declining as of late as buyers are holding back because of the economy and sellers looking to get out from under payments....so buying is more in your favor than before. Be sure to look around and do your homework and you should be able to find any of the ones you list above for a decent deal at the moment. November things could change as I think the country will be more upbeat on potential reduction in inflation, taxes etc......but who knows!

You will have cars look the same but optioned completely differently and the prices can be 1/3 higher.

If you are comparing cars please post up the VIN...... or do the VIN lookup to gather all the options included.

I'd definitely pay $3-4K higher for a full leather car regardless of milage..... that's just me.

I apologize, I wasn't getting notified of posts.
Figured out why the GTS wasn't higher then the 4S. The conditon on the seats weren't great and there was a smell. It was also missing LCA and the fancy steeringwheel
The 4S isn't full leather, but we saw several cars where the leather pulled away on the dashes, so we are OK with that.
Both are Preimium Plus, 4S has 18 way, GTS has 14-way.

We have compared MSRPs to some 2017s and 2019. Same milage (14k or so), and the 2019 is 20-30k higer MSRP, but the 2017 is listed higher.
