I found a 2021 CPO base 992 with 30k miles, and a build that checks most of my boxes (see below)The MSRP was $118.5k and I believe I can get it for a hair under $110k. My 2 questions are:

1. Is there anything in this build sheet that is a glaring omission? It has been sitting on a lot for 2 months and I'm puzzled as to why.
2. Is $110k a fair price for this build? I don't see many (or any) clean title 992 CPOs selling for less.

Has rubber dash and 14 ways (big boy seats). Me personally I don’t like the texture of the rubber dash and the appearance of it. You will be staring at it all day. The seats would be a deal killer for me as well. The 4 ways, 18 ways, and buckets are all more comfortable to me than those. I feel as they are designed for guys that need a little more space.

I hear you and don’t disagree! How do I reconcile that with the fact that there are no other CPOs in this price range for similar spec/miles? Said another way, is this a bad price relative to the market today, or is the market just really brutal given all the price increases in newer models (a new build goes for $150k).

the price seems crazy but unfortunately that is what they're going for. some low spec ones are started to dip below $100k but most are in this range. the miles are a little high but with CPO its not a big deal. the rubber dash doesn't bother me as much as the previous guy and the seats as long as you're comfortable in them they're fine. the only glaring omission to me is the lack of sport exhaust, but that could be added after ($10k+).

This is not very far from being a 4 model year old car and their asking price is damn near the original MSRP. Offer 90K and go from there.

I wouldn’t recommend searching for a 911 like this. Decide what you want option and trim wise then find the best deal condition car.

30k is a lot of miles in the Porsche world. If you are buying a driver, and don't care about that then go for it.

Spend a couple of thousand more and get a lower mileage car with leather.

I did a quick search on the Porsche finder website in my area, and based on that, I’d say the car you’re looking at is a bit over priced, primarily due to the higher mileage on it, and not as “well” spec’d. If it were under US$100K, it’ll be a lot more reasonable, from my perspective.

Now, buying a used, fun car can be hard. And different people place different weights on things like exterior and interior color e.g., I would hard pass on a well priced and spec’d yellow car, and look closely at a black one that less than a great deal. What I would do, always, is dive into service history (dealer should be able to pull that for you), accident and repair history, number of owners, where it lived most of it’s life, and if possible how it was used.

Re: the rubber dash, it’s purely a matter of personal choice. I like looking at and feeling nice interior materials, so splurged a little on my 911’s interior, while there are others that don’t mind a basic interior as long as the key amenities are there, and the Premium Package captures most of the basics. Spend some time inside the car you’re looking at, with closed doors, and see how it feels to you.

If you’re not in a rush to buy, and aren’t absolutely in love with the color of this car, spend some time searching and test driving a couple more cars. If it’s been sitting for 2 months, it may still be around after a couple more weeks.

You can do better. Not much to add beyond what's already been said. Not a lot of car for a whole lot of price. If you're spending this much, spend a little more and get a better car.
