You must have missed a lot, as I inadvertently pasted the description for a 2013 911!

Description has been corrected.

not to nitpick but it reads as a Carrera not an "S".

Given that this is a 2005 with a pretty early production date, any chance you could grab a picture of the engine serial number to verify whether it has the replaceable IMS or the larger non-serviceable one?

I also see that this passed through Hagerty back in March. Were you all the ones to remove the...interesting...graphics?

Engine serial # is M9770168504482

I guess everyone has a different opinion on graphics, but OEM-Porsche side stripes that one can buy directly from Porsche I don't know that I'd qualify as "interesting" with that connotation. To each his own. It's not like it had a Pokemon-themed wrap. That would be "interesting", and yes, we've seen that before.

Thank you for the information, that serial falls within the "should be" the revised/larger IMS that isn't an issue.

I was referring to the matte black stripes on the hood pictured in the Hagerty auction, but in any event...may follow up with you on this one if another lead does not pan out. Thanks again!

The VINs after 68509791 have the larger bearing that requires splitting the case, this # 4482 is before 9791. Or are you saying having the early replaceable bearing is better in your opinion?

Oh right! I forgot about those - my detailer hasn't though. He spent quite a while removing those.
