ED dates, when are you getting yours?
Just wondering what everyone else is getting for their ED dates. According to my app, my "T" started manufacturing on 5-28 and finished on 6-4. My SA says that the guy who used to schedule the ED dates is gone and has been replaced but he hasn't been given dates for 2 of his clients and my app say "not scheduled". Do your dates appear in the app for selection or is there a separate email?

In my case, I worked with my SA who then talked to Joey on getting options. Once PCNA is getting slots for Stuttgart and/or Leipzig, he would forward me the available dates and I would select 2 or 3 in priority order. You could probably also work directly with the PCNA team (I know of some people who have done so), but I wanted to keep my SA involved. Note that the ED dates may be very difficult to come by at this point for the year, so you should definitely check in to see if there are slots available or will become available, or if there may have been a cancellation.
I got my ED date about 3 months ahead of when the delivery was but had no choice (had to take Stuttgart or wait for a Leipzig date that may not have worked) and way before my car's production was completed.

As someone who does this every year, my recommendation would be to do the leg work yourself and deal directly with Porsche ED department. Getting SA involved adds a layer of delay and possible confusion. ED spots are getting so challenging these days, so if the department sends a list of dates to SA and SA happens to be off that day, busy with delivery, ect ect, by the time they reach out to you those spots could be gone. So my recommendation is to keep SA out of loop, do all communication yourself and you will be better off. ED department usually adds SA name to email, so they will know what’s happening. Good luck

September will be perfect since all alpine passes should be open then. Read through some of the recent delivery trip reports here (I am posting mine at the moment and there are several other well-written reports with great photos).

I emailed PCNA and they confirmed that I have an October delivery. They said they haven't released the date yet and even asked me if i had a preferred date. However, as I will be retiring in August I told them any date works. Looking forward to my trip and I will be taking the car to Normandy before sending it home. Your email states that you do this every year, any intel on trips through France? Thanks for the information.

I have ED on July 3rd, and spoke with the ED team. They are saying that TYD is now broken and wont show your date but its still scheduled. In my iphone app and the website it doesnt show the date, but on my andrpod app it still does.
Definitely work directly with the ED team and stay in contact with them. Will make life easier.

Yes. Once you have an allocation and you can get an ED, you can select a date before the car is built. Of course they will give you dates as options that normally will give enough time to build the car, transport it, and get it ready for delivery. In rare cases, when there are delays, they may be able to move the date as well. I have only seen rare cases here on RL where a build was so far delayed that the ED had to be cancelled.

Happy July everyone!
Has anyone gotten an update from ED regarding October/November scheduling?

Hey all! Quick update. I have a GT4RS on order and it is expected to finish production at the end of September 2024. Reached out to the ED team and Sean McNicholas said October dates were fully booked out. No word on Nov dates yet. Anyone here confirmed for Nov ED? Thanks in advance.

If your production end date is in September, I would expect ED to be in December.
