Default Anyone have a Carrera "T" with Sport-Tex ventilated seats?

Received my "T" allocation yesterday and placed my order today.
The salesman thought seat ventilation option could not be combined with Checkered Sport-Tex Seat Centers, but the configurator allowed the combination.
Anyone else have this issue or option?

Ventilated seats deletes the sport-tex centers. You can't have both.

can't be done, you probably missed the fine print

Note: For the 911 Carrera T, deletion of Sport-Tex seat centers and embroidered "911" logo on headrests is required.

I saw the footnote in the ventilation option section, but it only states "Note: For the 911 Carrera T, deletion of Sport-Tex seat centers and embroidered "911" logo on headrests is required."
But when selecting the option, it does not kick out the "Standard Interior with Checkered Sport-Tex Seat Centers" option.
The dealer did state that the Checkered" Sport-Tex Seat material is different than the standard Sport-Tex material.
Wouldn't the configurator not allow selections that cannot be combined?

I just trialed adding the standard Sport-Tex to my configuration, and it actually shows the removal of the ventilation and Checkered sport-tex.
I'm thinking since the configurator removed the two options when swapping the Standard sport-tex ventilation for checkered sport-tex...I'm assuming the two can be ordered together...fingers crossed.

It deletes it, which is weird as the Sport tex on the Taycans CAN still have ventilated seats.
I might be mixing up sport-tex with race-tex as for the life of me I can never remember which is which.

I'll say it again. You cannot combine sport tex with ventilated. If you want sport tex, you will be very sorry when the car shows up if you select ventilated.

I live in very hot, very humid climate and my car is a black T with SportTex inserts.
I highly recommend SportTex.
You don't need ventilated seats with SportTex.
Like Alcantara or RaceTex, it breathes very well and keeps you cool.
It's also an excellent seat center fabric that grips you in place, unlike leather.

@sk911 it wont deselect the standard sport tex as that is the standard option available in the T, but the footnote clearly states the sport tex will be deleted. As we have seen from others previously, if you order your car like this you will be very disappointed when your car shows up with plain leather seats instead of the sport tex

Received my answer today from my Salesman...
The configurator is accurate...Standard Sport-Tex cannot be optioned with ventilation, but the Checkered Sport-Tex seats can.
I've included the pictures from a "T" with the Checkered Sport-Tex/ ventilation combination.
The only issue is with the rear seats. With the Standard Sport-Tex, the rear seats also have the Std. Sport-Tex material, but with the Checkered Sport-Tex option...the rears are 100% leather.
I'm in Arizona, so I'm good with that...come on 6/2 start build date!

I think you have confused yourself, with the help of an uninformed salesperson.

The standard (base) seats on the T include checkered sport tex centers by default.

If you select the standard "T package" it adds pinstriping to the seat.

On your screenshot above, it shows the removal of ventilation and checkered sport tex when you get the T package because it replaced the checkered sport tex with pinstriped sport tex.

On the base interior, which is checkered sport tex, there is nothing for the configurator to delete when you select ventilated so they simply include the footnote.

I am sorry you have been misled, but your car will not have sport tex of any kind if you have selected ventilation.

Also, your picture here appears to show leather.

Regardless, the seat centers become leather when you select the option. That picture above appears to show leather seat centers.

Yes, it was a little confusing...but there are two different Sport-Tex options for "T" models.... the standard Sport-Tex and Checkered Sport-tex.
Looking closely at the pictures...the Checkered Sport-Tex is clearly noticeable and not smooth leather. It looks a little like perforated leather to me.
The dealer states it's definitely not perforated leather but agreed it kind of looks that way in the picture.

The standard/base seats are checkered sport tex.

The T package upgrades to pinstripe sport tex.

Those are the only two options. Neither can be selected with ventilated, regardless of what you or your SA choose to believe the configurator says.

That picture you showed here is leather, not sport tex. Your SA is confused on many levels.

As mentioned above, the sport Tex fabric is breathable in and of itself. Just how cool are we trying to make the seat by adding ventilation?
