Door window drop problem
Hi all, I have read a lot of threads and seen the videos for regulator replacement, BUT I am not sure what actually needs replacing as my 'problem' seems different to others :
It's just on the drivers door
The car is a Nov 2011 997.2 3.6 Carrera Uk spec
It's just on the drivers door
- With the door closed the drivers window works perfectly with opening and closing
- When the door handle is pulled the window drops every time
- When the door is open the window goes back up and often juts oscillates with no interaction, dropping and raising with no input
- every time the inner handle is used of the outer handle is used the window drops but as soon as you release either if the door is open the window raises
The car is a Nov 2011 997.2 3.6 Carrera Uk spec

LOL, door latch mech, sensor is inside. I've got one on order . . . fairly good deal at Suncoast
Messes with the alarm and interior lights - the car cannot sense the door is open.
Sounds like an easy, but awkward, DIY. I'll let you know!

I think it might be this part https://www.design911.com/p/micro-switch-99761312502/ and it's £30 something from Porsche themselves, possible that the switch is not working properly when depressed and perhaps sending the wrong intermittent signals ?

PS it's not me on Facebook, as I don't use Facebook !
