Default Carbon fiber accessories for 2008 Cayenne TT

I'm looking to refurbish my Cayenne TT with some carbon fiber goodies.

I want the real stuff, none of that cheap vinyl garbage.

Anyone have suggestions? I've looked on Amazon but I can't distinguish between the real stuff and the fake stuff with the weird way it's all advertised and worded.

I want to get the interior trim kit and door handles... as well as if there is exterior trim.

Anddd go! Thanks in advance!

If you want real, hand-laid or vacuum-bagged carbon fiber, there are certainly companies out there that can do that for you. You'll have to remove and send them your trim pieces or get spares and have those covered. However, anything that is modified may not fit exactly right afterwards. So keep that in mind. Also, you'll probably spend a small fortune doing it.

Check evilbay. There was a guy selling his CF trim for $1200 a few months back. That's about as low priced as you find.

I'm thinking of wrapping my trim in alcantara, has anyone done it? I was considering the carbon but the price put me off and it feels a little weird having carbon in a big, heavy SUV

I was able to get some Techart door and grab handles, not cheap and might be really hard to find, but these are truly awesome.

Best feature, no more wife’s makeup staining the leather :-)

Would you happen to know what colour Porsche uses for their alcantara (or whatever it is)? I think wrapping the trim pieces in that grey material would be nice...

Regardless of what Porsche calls it, you should get samples from Relicate if you want real Alcantara. The color can vary slightly from batch to batch. Relicate has some dark gray Porsche material, but again, you'd need samples to verify it's correct. Alternatively (and much less expensive), just get some aftermarket automotive suede that's close enough.
