Theres one part that’s unsatisfying on these cars, the plastic rear deck lid. Curious if anyone has seen anything aftermarket? Would be cool to have something in stainless steel like historic models. Thoughts from the hive mind?
These grills are not jewelry. They are functional and a turbo grill has a different purpose than a NA grill. I sincerely doubt they can even be swapped and even if they could, it's probably a very bad idea.

Yep. The slats direct air to the intercoolers. The GT3 touring and ST covers are for an NA engine that doesn't have intercoolers/heat exchangers.
Not trying to start an arguement but have you seen the deck with the slats/plastic cover removed? The hole in it is maybe 15-20% of the area. I suppose the slats could be cooling the deck itself.

I took mine off too and thought the same. I may replace the entire lid shown on this picture with a CF lid that has even more opening to get air in that the combo of OEM plastic cover and metal lid as shown on this pic. The problem I am trying to solve is how to remove/disconnect that antenna/receiver module to the left of the circle. I am not planning on showing my plans here as I want to spare me the comments like above.
