Default Best place for auto loan

Do you guys have any recommendation for car loan? My first time doing it.

Chase?

Local Credit Union?

Lightstream?

Woodside? Any recommendation is welcome and also what kind of rates are we looking at?

My recommendation is to talk to your brokerage house and get a line of credit based on your portfolio. Depending on the size of your portfolio you can get prime or prime minus 1/2 or something like that. Cheapest money out there and pay off whenever you want.

This way you leverage the market without liquidating your position in the market.

Do you not have a relationship with a local bank? Probably best to go there.

Are you sure this is the right car for you if you have to ask where to get a car loan?

BoA was the best rate/terms I came across - PFS right behind them and local Credit Union was behind those two.

Was debating outright purchase or finance a portion of the car at the lower rates.

I have one lined up with penfed (have used them before as well). I believe they cap the notional lent at $100k, but still cheap money, on a 1.99% 5yr term. They aren’t the best operationally in terms of the paperwork process and still a lot is manual and needs real live ink signatures, but overall good experience there.

Hmmm, high degree of risk with the line of credit from a brokerage.
Should the market value of the pledged collateral decrease, margin calls will be knocking your door
