Default 18 way seat gremlin

Upon acceleration or braking, I will sometimes feel a slight movement or shift in my driver seat. It is subtle and does not always happen. They are the 18 way version and I like them; however, the driver's seat feels like it wants to become a 20 way seat and I would prefer this stay 18 and under. I read something about just adding a simple washer to a bolt and this issue was resolved on 997s.

Has anyone here experienced this on the cayenne?

First time I've heard of it on any Cayenne. Sounds like a bushing is worn somewhere. If the battery has ever been changed it might be worth checking the bolts that hold the seat-rails to the floor are tight. Certainly other cars are known for this sort of thing (BMW M-Coupes for instance.. I had 2 of them, they both did it unless I lowered the seat to the lowest position.)

I have the same thing with my 18 ways. I thought a bolt may be loose so I tightened them and they were snug. ALMOST feels like something is loose int back rest of the seat.

I read about someone having this issue with their 997, where the underside of the bolt had some minimal wear which caused the play in their seat - fix / solution being placing a washer underneath the bolt. I have not yet had an opportunity to take a look at my seat, but will hopefully in next week or two. I will post an update if I get this figured out.
