Different states have different rules on leasing. You could do it out of state, but essentially, you would have to buy out the lease, and sell the car, thus paying all the taxes as well.

Another thought is all else fails trade it in on the GT3 and at least you could push the sales tax. States vary but we are a no income tax state but it’s 9% on Car tax so a 100k trade saves 10k on tax in simple math. We too had a 15 AEV and firmly with you on the Black I’ve just grown to tired to fight it. Good luck on the sale. Be sure and list it on the Forum that the Corvette group follows.
