Amazon has a case of six quarts for $104.99…is $17.50 overpriced? I chased down several Auto Zone search hits and found that they didn’t have the X3 even though the pictures showed the 0-40 ESP X3 bottle and in stock.

A year ago Suncoast sold me 12 quarts for $10.95 each, free shipping. My, how times have changed!

Speedway Motors has a case of 6 for $68.25 plus $13.50 shipping. That’s $14.44 / quart.

See post #46 above-“I chased down several Auto Zone search hits and found that they didn’t have the X3 even though the pictures showed the 0-40 ESP X3 bottle and in stock”
To follow up I went to the Auto Zone web and ordered some ESP X3-put in my vehicle description (GTS)-AZ came back with “this doesn’t fit your car”. Clearly they have a search issue. I visited 3 AZ stores that showed availability and they had ESP but not X3 and none even had ESP in 0-40. I called the other two in my area and got the same results.

Same here in Virginia. No C40 available at Auto Zone, nor at any other auto parts stores.

I live in fairly rural TN. The clerk at autozone that I found it at made it sound like it was no big deal to have it in stock. Here is link to store. It says they ship but I picked up. Don’t know the shipping costs. I bought for $10.99/qt

I bought 30 quarts of X3 from autozone so far. Very easy to find them in northeast.

That’s the link I used…plug in your vehicle and you get a notice that it doesn’t work for the GTS V8. It’s also the picture that I get with a local store noted as having it in stock. So far 5 Auto Zones and no ESP X3 10-40.

Forget what it says. You go to Autozone. Hold the bottle on your hand, flip over, look for Porsche C40 approval. If it has it, it will work.

I did that 3 times and like I said earlier they don’t even have any 0-40. Lots of ESP 0-20 in stock but it isn’t C40.

They show 11 Quarts on your invoice but isn’t the capacity 10 Q with filter change?

I have receipts for 5 oil changes and the quantity varies. I wouldn’t necessarily equate the amount charged with the exact amount actually filled.
The amounts billed are: 10, 11, 9, 11, 10. That’s an average of 10.2 quarts.

After going to two Autozones and calling two others that said they had it, I resorted to my calls being more detailed: "Do you have the green label...." And I found one that stated they did in fact have it. So I made my way over there, about twenty minutes from my house, and they had it, but slightly different label, but it's spec'd to Porsche. I bought four, put one in the beast.

Look what I found at my local Auto Zone in Yorktown, Virginia (third from left). It might be hit-or-miss, but some Auto Zones do stock the 0W-40 ESP X3. I picked up a few to keep on hand.

If you look closely at the price tag, it is mislabeled as ESP FS. Perhaps that is part of the issue with finding it.
