PS: Nice talking to you Jager. I'll give you a call tomorrow and maybe we can get together for a drink or something. Maybe even lunch. Looks like we might be out and about near you tomorrow after all
Jason-- Nice, but ya gotta at least photo-edit & add a car into the frame
Your Slate Gray would be perfect in the picture. One of my best friends had a 968 cabriolet that shade, & I luved it. Same when I got to see RLer JHummel's in person.
(Guess you guys both do the cargo flying. Cool coincidence with y'all & the "993 thing.")
You fly guys need to get out to Monterey this week!

JoAnne! Great chatting. Looking forward to your next call. Thanks for getting my butt out to Carmel's Concours. INCREDIBLE.
Just got back to the Inn.... WHAT A DAY on the avenue
There was only one 993 and it said that it was "built to RS spec's". It was Speed Yellow. It was hard to me to take a picture of it.
RLer Jeff / Schmidtwerk's 993! (Thanks to PJS996GT3 for the pre-show photos & details on the "993 RS (USA)" thread.)

'Til that works, this a great excuse for getting myself to the Historics.

Jeff-- You might get to ask Jerry Seinfeld about his 993 RS in person: Jo let me know he is around.
Our next planned 993 sighting may be at The Quail. Porschemeister PMed me, said his black, custom GT2 (featured in Excellence magazine) will be on display there.
He was a Rennie!!! I'm NOT telling Robert that! He wanted me to go up to him and ask him if he was on Rennlist while he was sitting in line waiting to be placed, but I said he had a female in the car with him and I NEVER go up to men I don't know when they are with a female. Females intimidate me! Robert just shook his head and chalked it up to another "JoAnnism".

Now, if it wasn't already sold out
Don't cry too hard. I'm not sure any Concours is worth $400.00 per ticket!
Brian-- Any chance you're out in Cali now? Just saw an F. Yellow CGT driving away at the Carmel Concours.
Since we passed each other on the road at last month's CO PCA Parade, it would be swell to see you & your ride here, too.

Hmmm.
Now that I've reviewed the evidence from Speedy's dash-cam, gotta ask:
Any chance you're a blonde chica???...
THAT'S CHERYL!!!
She got the Carrera GT from her Hubby for a B-Day gift several years ago.
Last year she got a Bentley Continental. It's beautiful too.
^^ Crazy. Guess she's definitely not Brian, then. JoAnne-- Wow ... you DO know everyone.
Probably just another minute 'til we find out about the role the following lady's had in your life, too. (If not, just make a fun story, we'll believe ya! )
RLer Jeff's RS:
Jeff-- Have ya heard of "Invisible Glass" by Stoner?
I swear I was just trying to get a photo of my favorite feature; the, uh, "radio delete panel." Really. I'm innocent, I tell ya.

LOL sometimes it seems like that doesn't it? We've known Cheryl and her hubby Peter for many years so there are many stories, like the first time that we met them. She had just won Best of Show at a 356 Concours in Morro Bay for her Carrera GT and brought out a Magnum of Champagne to celebrate. She she uncorked the thing, it practically blew up and all we heard was her laughter. I knew there and then I liked the women. Her Hubby is pretty special too.
Plus she is the women who taught me how to fold a dinner napkin into a perfect shape of a *****
Here is a picture of Jeff in line. I hear that many entrants that arrived about 9:00 to be placed waited an hour and a half.
Talk about having fun. This Vince and Celia from San Diego. They are Porsche People who know how to live La Dolce Vita even if it's not in one of their P-cars:
Jeff-- I'm also diggin' your RS seats
Sorry I missed you: fellas out front said you were eating in the restaurant a few feet away; I didn't want to distract. Smart man, though, keeping an eye on your fine ride, especially with suspicious characters like me happily leaving drool marks.

Photo for any of you who know a PA yodel Rennlister associated with Stoner brand products:
Radio delete panel (a result of the 15" subs not fitting in the doors, of course).
Marcus B's carbon fiber version...
We have been without a P-car for only three weeks and massive withdrawl has already set in. After selling the 993 that we know we can not top I don't THINK that is what we'll be getting next. This is what Robert was drooling all over this afternoon. He wants an R Gruppe Classic:
