I have never seen this color b/4 in 993 TT.

It looks great! Unique colors always make good looking cars look even better!

Is the interior color dark blue? If it is, I think I know this car. It is Horizon Blue, an older Porsche color that the PO liked and ordered. Nice car!

the interior is gray with black gauges. I had the car shipped to miami from nevada, where it sat in a salvage yard with lots of work to be done. Maybe this can clue everyone in as to its origin. 5 months and 35 k later the car is brand new, and i was able to get a clear florida title for it. Don't ask what i bought it for because you will all kill me i could have bought one without a story for less than the total i have spent, but this way i was able to have the euro bumper installed new paint job new windshield, and i had the engine redone the way i wanted it extra oil cooler, intercooler fvd ecu brand new k24s 100 cell cats phoneix mufflers H&R springs full tuneup valve job leak down test performed 5 bar fuel pressure regulator new hoses and blow off valves k&n filter new clutch new transmission new ecu for the ABS and for the AWD new tires and now it FLIES has exactly 59k miles. This car is driven every weekend, not your typical garage queen. I'll welcome a challenge from anyone on the road including the new more modern water pumpers!!

Thumbs up

Don't worry what others may think... you have your car just the way you want it... for now. More mods later, I'm sure. If you post your color code, someone will tell you the name. It also looks like Polar Silver to me... this is the silver with the blue undertones (Arctic Silver is the one with the brown undertones). Both nice.

The transmissions on these cars are generally bulletproof, unless it got the case cracked in an accident. The AWD is managed by a viscous coupling that is purely mechanical... no electronics, hence no "ECU" for the AWD. I'm also unfamiliar with an ECU for the ABS... but that may simply be a name that it is not normally called... ABS chip?

Your car sounds great. Enjoy the heck out of it!

exactly the tranny got cracked in an accident the chip for the abs was replaced, and i know the awd controller whatever it may be was also replaced i am not sure of the terminology either

Anyways i love the car its my dream. I love most is the smell of the interior when you get in, it just smells like a porsche, you guys know what i mean the distinct porsche interior smell its indescribable. Only serious porsche aficionados know what i mean

all the best

That definitely looks like Polar. I love that color. I had the hardest time picking between black and Polar and just couldn't decide until the perfect black TT fell into my lap.

Congrats! and thanks for sharing the pics...Now go off and MOD!
