Are we allowed to say this in this thread? If so, I concur, the mules look like what Mitsubizi would come up with if they tried to build a 911. I really hope the car looks a lot better than these camo'd cars in final form. Porsche finally got back to a simple organic beautiful look on the 911 with the 991.1 and it seems they're rushing to get back off track again. Really hope the final product is nice.
The 993 crowd berated the 996 (water cooled, tha'ts insane) before it was launched and the 996 crowd berated the 997 before it was launched. the 996 and 997.1 I believe were the last to use the Mezger engines which were legendary in Porsche history going back several models.
And the 991 suffered the same fate at the hands of the 997 crowd. Look at the 991.1 vs 991.2 food fight and think you can expect different. With this group until it launches and proves itself this dram will continue and most likely even after.
I applaud you for the effort. I am interested in knowing about the new model even though I may not be a buyer.
I don't believe the front fender pictured above will be used in final production. The body gap between the fender and door seems too large for it to be a finished product.
