Default Speedtech Exhaust

Just wanted to thank John from Speedtech .... Installed today and it sounds great ....

It was nice to get the straight pipes off --- still have the turbo whistle but I can finally hear again ...

Went with the 3" pipes and a single tip....

Will try and get a video up for you guys

So are you happy with the sound at WOT? Any drone?

Have you been through a tunnel yet hahaha. I know that's the first thing I'd try and find.

I've had the same 3" catted x-pipe for over a year now - best mod I have done to the car. I had the catted FVD Brombacher exhaust (which is not an x-pipe) prior, and the Speedtech x-pipe is simply the best sounding exhaust possible for the 997.1 Mezger turbo IMO. Very light as well compared to any other design with a muffler.

Not the greatest audio quality but here's a couple laps from inside my car - Mosport is windows up, TMP is windows down. The exhaust is loud, but not obnoxious. Makes the Mezger sound like it should have from the factory.

This is probably my 5th set of exhausts on P cars... Have not found a set of pipes yet that doesn't drone a bit ... But so far the speed tech is a nice sound at almost all rpm's ...

993MAN, for no drone, I would recommend our catted 2.5" X-Pipe system. Great sound, no drone. Not as aggressive as a full 3" system, but still very sporty and great performance/sound...
