I have a white C2 with platinum wheels. I'm so gratefull my calipers are black. It suits the color combo of my car. Red calipers would have been less cool.

Definitely personal preference but with red calipers, you get bigger brakes. To each their own. Also, the red is a good accent color as a bonus. Some will appreciate it and some will not. Kinda like using a pocket square to accent your suit. #suitup

This would mean no GT3 body kits for the Carrera, No MKI and MKII kits or anything cool for the rest of us.
I've even seen some post photo of rides they don't own now or anymore, where does it end.. LOL

FWIW, we refinish brake calipers here, we don't swap them out, I'm thinking that if I had a set with 15K miles you would not want that set... and so that is why we don't....

First someone puts a "turbo" emblem on a 991.2 and now someone wants red calipers on their non-S model?

It's funny, Ferrari was one of the first that let you pick the colour of your calipers, but the trend when I ordered my 458 was that most new owners were getting black or silver by choice, coloured callipers was considered out of date and not cool anymore. I still picked yellow and it looked awesome.

My Base has red calipers (bought it like that) and I'm extremely happy it does, as it looks great and I'm always drawn to it and the contrast with my wheels. Red calipers are hardly "poser-ish," nobody in their right mind wants it because an "S" has it, red calipers have been a styling choice on vast types of cars, forever. With silver wheels, I'm indifferent, but with black wheels is where red calipers really show well, imo. Same can be said for yellow, blue, etc. Depends on the color of the car, theme, and your taste.
BTW, what does it typically cost to paint all 4 calipers?

I bought a can of red paint to spray my base 996 calipers about a hundred years ago. I loved the idea but couldn't quite bring myself to do it - it just felt wrong.
996 is long gone but I still have that can of red paint if you want it

I've used dupli-color ceramic hit temp paint on other cars in the past with great success. Prep the surface properly and the paint will last a long, long time.

I'd rather all their brakes be black or grey. Then they can charge a typical PTS/deviated King's ransom for those who worry about it. That seems like a win/win to me.
