someone posted this picture on Pistonhead. I think it will be useful for those who have not seen Miami Blue color in person.
Thats fantastic and does the best job Ive ever seen of both showing how Miami blue actually looks in real life and also how photos of it often make it look a lot less green than it actually is.
Miami Blue truly should be called Miami Dolphins Blue.

We all wished MB would look like what the iPad sees...
Im kinda baffled by the hatred and venom being directed towards MB. Ive seen it on numerous 911s in various conditions-each time it looks fantastic. So what gives? Just like any color, it should be seen in person to be sure its for you. I chose Carmine, but MB was a close second.

In the world of valuable Skittle colors I think it is a pretty cool option without going PTS. That being said I did not order it, but I know someone who did and looking forward to seeing it.

Yup, it's a blue green, not a true blue. Very feminine and blah IMO, but it's all personal taste. Think we used to call that color Aqua when we were kids...

I agree and I think there are many that like it.....they just don't take the time to post that they do....like anything else, people with a dislike are more apt to chime in....

You're lucky. Not everybody will have the chance to see it in person. Not every dealer will order it OR not everybody is willing to drive the miles to see one in person.
Just remember, no one ordered the bright colors everyone wants on PTS now when they were new. How many Mexico (or Viper or signal yellow) Long hoods were there not a lot. Same with Maritime 964 or Riveria 993.
I think the only historic Porsche PTS color that is popular now that was actually popular when it was offered is Irish.

I don't see the hatred. I see people objectively correcting other people's "opinions" that MB is blue. It isn't. It's blue-green. Also, most of the pictures online illustrate MB as being close to other pure blues, when once again, it is not in person.
The iPad picture reference above is precisely what I and others mean in regards to having to see the color in person.
Those interested in Miami blue, ask yourself this:
Would your select this color if you had a PTS allocation and wanted a blue color ? If yes than it’s the right color for you. If it’s another blue you wanted then it is SETTLING and it’s $4200 extra to SETTLE
while it's not for me, I actually like the fact that Miami has some green to it. reminds me of BMW's Laguna Seca blue, which had a lot of green to it in certain lights and a wide dynamic range. a lot of the other blues are too light for my taste (Mexico, etc.). the best Porsche blue, IMO, is Voodoo
