911Jetta - You have that duathalon worked out well! I did not think a bike would fit in the back seat but I will have to try that out after seeing you do it.
I have used the SeaSucker on the GT3 (but would not want to do any spirited driving) and can fit a bike (wheels/saddle removed) in the passenger seat of a R8 as the foot well is very deep.

Give it a try jj99c2! I wanted to share the pics because it's possible, and great way to combine my passions (bikes, cars and photography). That said, if I had your bike, I'd definitely wouldn't mind using a roof rack so everyone can see that beast. My bike is old and ugly, it deserves to be tucked away. I do love roof racks on a 911 though...

Bronson - I really like the Trek Madone 9. It has some aero properties but its still a very comfortable bike as it has a system that decouples the seat post from the frame. The downside is it makes it a little heavier - mine is 7.4kg set up with enve 3.4 clinchers/DA9150 di2. The bike is a little complicated as all the cables/wires are fully integrated through handlebar/stem/frame. I have not had any problems with it though.
I agree Trek is not as popular - most of my friends are on Specialized.
Mooty big OT but how or why or what is the process behind the color palette? I never saw orange and green go well in anything. Who chooses it?
i chose it, i was trained as and practiced as architect then got bored. i like luis barragan, emilio ambasz, tadao ando, irata isozaki.. if you mixed them together, that's the pallete i see.

on sea sucker, it works on painted surfaces. but if those surfaces are covered with clear film will it work?
pls dont tell me i need to buy antoehr car to put sea sucker on

i have tested madone and emonda. i wanted more aggressive geo. and tarmac seems to fit me really well geo wise. so i stuck with it.

Mooty - I have not tried the SeaSucker with a film -- my xpel stops on the hood so the roof is painted.
5.95k with your tarmac? Are those tubs or clincher wheels? That is amazingly light....I have been thinking about building up an Emonda in a lightweight config as the new frame is 640g...but I did not see a way to get it below 6kg with clinchers.
